Monika Henzinger
Henzinger earned a Princeton PhD in 1993, held roles at Cornell and Digital Equipment Corporation, and worked at Google from 1999 to 2005. She held an EPFL professorship from 2005 to 2009 and a Vienna professorship from 2009 to 2023, followed by an ISTA appointment from 2023. Her research studies efficient algorithms and responsible computing. Her group develops algorithms for incrementally changing inputs, including maintaining clusters of points. It also studies differential privacy for changing and distributed datasets, supporting reliable analysis while protecting individual data.
