    An open chat interface

Chatbot UI added prompt templates, folders, answer regeneration, and GPT-4 support in March 2023. It gave developers an open application around chat models. The project’s public source made the surrounding interface and application choices available for inspection.

  2. 2024 project structure

    A wider application foundation

Chatbot UI has a newer version and legacy code. The newer version uses a Supabase backend, supports local and hosted setup, and offers optional local model access through Ollama. The migration path dates to January 2024.

  3. Building and teaching

    Founding Takeoff AI

Wrigley founded Takeoff AI and links his videos, posts, and coding experiments. He built a public teaching practice alongside products.

  4. July 2025

    Thinking about coding agents

In Claude Agent, Wrigley described his use of Claude Code and argued that its scope went beyond code generation. This was a personal interpretation of a tool he used.

  5. Current products

    AgentShare and MagicLearn

Takeoff AI’s current products include AgentShare and MagicLearn.

  6. Current public work

    Code, posts, and demonstrations

Wrigley continues to direct readers to his GitHub experiments, videos, and posts. Chatbot UI retains installation instructions and an open issue history.
