María Paz Hermosilla

Also known as Maria Paz Hermosilla

María Paz Hermosilla works where public-sector data science meets AI ethics in Chile. She studied at NYU Wagner in 2015 and earned an MPA there in 2016. In 2019 she was among the members of Chile's science-ministry expert committee on artificial intelligence. In 2022 she was listed among the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics. In January 2026 she was director of GobLab UAI and presented to the Senate on a bill about data management.
