Keith Strier

As of October 2026, Keith Strier is senior vice president of global AI markets at AMD, responsible for expanding the company's strategic vision for AI. Before joining AMD in September 2024, he was vice president of worldwide AI initiatives at NVIDIA, where he helped governments build sovereign AI capabilities. Earlier, EY announced him as its Global and Americas Artificial Intelligence Leader in January 2018. In April 2022, he became one of the first members of the National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee, which will advise the president. He also co-chairs the OECD.AI expert group on AI compute and climate, which was created in late 2020.

    He contributes to the first national AI plans in 2017, and his stated mission is to unlock the full potential of AI.

  2. January 2018

    Global AI leader at EY

    In January 2018, EY announces his appointment as its Global and Americas Artificial Intelligence Leader for Advisory Services, based in Irvine, California.

  3. 2020–2024

    Vice president at NVIDIA

    In November 2020, he is vice president of worldwide AI initiatives at NVIDIA. He leads its AI Nations initiative, which helps governments build sovereign AI capabilities.

  4. 2020

    Co-chair of the OECD.AI group

    The OECD.AI expert group on AI compute and climate is created in late 2020, and he co-chairs it.

  5. April 2022

    Inaugural member of NAIAC

    In April 2022, the U.S. Department of Commerce names 27 members to the recently established National Artificial Intelligence Advisory Committee, which will advise the president. He is one of them.

  6. September 2024

    Senior vice president at AMD

    In September 2024, AMD announces that he joins as senior vice president of global AI markets, reporting to Mark Papermaster, its chief technology officer.

    As of October 2026, he is senior vice president of global AI markets at AMD, responsible for expanding the company's strategic vision for AI and its engagements across public and private sectors.
