Keith Evan Green
Keith Evan Green is a Cornell researcher in architectural robotics, a field that treats rooms and furnishings as responsive systems for people. He earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, including a doctorate in architecture, moved his research from Clemson to Cornell in 2016, and published the book Architectural Robotics in 2016. His work ranges from the LIT ROOM literacy environment and the e-MoBo therapy robot to MirrorBot, which uses adaptive mirrors to prompt eye contact between strangers. His research earns Best Paper or Honorable Mention awards at DIS, CHI, RO-MAN and HRI. As of October 2026, he is Cornell’s Jean and Douglas McLean Professor of Human Centered Design.
