Junwei Han
Also known as Han Junwei, 韩军伟
Junwei Han is a professor in the School of Automation at Northwestern Polytechnical University, and his work spans computer vision, visual saliency and remote-sensing images. The International Association for Pattern Recognition named him a Fellow in 2022 for contributions to visual saliency computation and remote-sensing image analysis. In 2017 he co-authored NWPU-RESISC45, a benchmark of 31,500 remote-sensing images across 45 scene classes. A 2018 survey he co-wrote reviewed deep-learning methods for salient and category-specific object detection. He was one of five authors of a 2019 preprint that introduced DIOR, a benchmark for object detection in optical remote-sensing images.
