Jungong Han

Also known as 韩军功, Han Jungong

Jungong Han is a computer vision researcher whose work connects multimedia analysis, deep learning, and digital content identification. He completed a doctorate at Xidian in 2004 and held research posts in the Netherlands; Civolution used his audio fingerprinting algorithm in its SyncNow product. His 2013 review covered computer vision with Microsoft's Kinect sensor, and his academic posts included Northumbria, Lancaster, Warwick, Aberystwyth, and Sheffield. IAPR and AAIA named him a Fellow in 2022, and he joined the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in 2024. He is a professor in Tsinghua University's Department of Automation, where his research includes multimodal visual perception and foundation model optimization.
