John E. Laird
John Laird contributes to research on Soar, a cognitive architecture that brings multiple forms of knowledge and learning together. Laird, Paul Rosenbloom, and Allen Newell co-authored The Soar Papers: Readings on Integrated Intelligence, published in 1993. Laird wrote The Soar Cognitive Architecture, published in 2012. The book is a detailed reference for an architecture used to develop systems with intelligent behaviour.
