Jing Liang
Also known as Jane-Jing Liang, Jane Jing Liang, 梁静
Jing Liang works in evolutionary computation and optimization. She published a comprehensive learning particle swarm optimizer for multimodal functions in 2006. Her later work applied local search and ring topologies to multimodal and multiobjective search, and evolutionary multitasking to constrained optimization. She received the IEEE CIS Outstanding PhD Dissertation Award in 2014, and IEEE elevated her to Fellow in 2026 for contributions to evolutionary computation for complex optimization and its real-world applications. As of October 2026, she is deputy secretary and vice president of Henan Institute of Technology and a special-session co-chair for MIND 2026.
