Jimmy Lin
Jimmy Lin builds tools for information retrieval and language processing, including shared software for reproducible search research. Lin completed his doctorate in electrical engineering and computer science at MIT in 2004. He researches information retrieval, natural language processing and data management. He aims to help users make sense of large amounts of data. Lin, Xueguang Ma, Sheng-Chieh Lin, Jheng-Hong Yang, Ronak Pradeep and Rodrigo Nogueira published Pyserini at SIGIR. The toolkit supports reproducible information retrieval research with sparse and dense representations.
