Jeff Delaney created Fireship, a developer education project founded in 2017. The channel and site combine compact programming explanations, technology news and practical courses. Delaney brought that format to AI topics, including GPT-4 in March 2023 and ChatGPT’s code interpreter in July 2023. These videos linked model releases to programming, code execution and data work. Electrify partnered with Delaney in 2024 to expand Fireship’s team and platform. A wider team makes Fireship’s current material. Fireship continues to connect AI news with software skills through videos, lessons and courses for developers.
