Jensen Huang
Also known as Jensen Jen-Hsun Huang
Jensen Huang is NVIDIA’s cofounder, president and chief executive. He studied electrical engineering at Oregon State and Stanford and worked at AMD and LSI Logic before founding NVIDIA with Chris Malachowsky and Curtis Priem in 1993. The company developed graphics processors and later provided CUDA, introduced in 2006, so developers could use those processors for general computing. NVIDIA hardware supported the separate AlexNet research team’s work in 2012. The company introduced its DGX-1 deep learning system in 2016 and the Blackwell computing platform in 2024. Huang’s career shows how hardware, software and company organization became part of AI development.
