Francesca Grisoni
Grisoni earned her Milano-Bicocca doctorate in 2016. The thesis studied interpretable machine learning for predicting molecular properties, with research visits at ETH and the US EPA. She held a joint Milano-Bicocca and ETH postdoctoral position from 2017 to 2019 on descriptors for scaffold hopping. In 2019 she moved into senior ETH research on generative deep learning for drug discovery. She became a TU Eindhoven assistant professor in 2021. Her team links AI methods for molecule discovery with chemistry, biology and wet-lab validation.
