Ferenc Huszár
Also known as Ferenc Huszar
Huszár earned a Cambridge PhD in Bayesian machine learning. He later worked at Magic Pony on image super-resolution and compression, followed by recommender systems and fair learning at Twitter. He started the inFERENCe blog in 2015. The blog contains explanations of adversarial networks, variational autoencoders and representation learning written while he returned to machine-learning research. He joined Cambridge’s computer-science department in 2020. His group studies learning, inference, inductive bias and reasoning; he is also associated with the Reasonable language-model startup.
