Fahad Shahbaz Khan

Also known as Fahad Khan, Fahad S. Khan

Fahad Shahbaz Khan works in computer vision, and as of October 2026 he is an associate professor and docent at Linköping University in Sweden. From 2012 to 2018 he worked at Linköping's Computer Vision Laboratory, first as a postdoctoral fellow and then as a research fellow. He received the best paper award in the computer vision track at IEEE ICPR 2016 and co-authored the ECO tracking paper at CVPR 2017. Between 2018 and 2020 he was a lead scientist at the Inception Institute of AI in the UAE, and by 2022 he was a faculty member at MBZUAI and Linköping University. In 2024 he co-authored the GLaMM paper at CVPR and the Video-ChatGPT paper at the Association for Computational Linguistics meeting.
