Didier Henrion
Didier Henrion works on polynomial optimization, and his methods reached computer vision through a prize-winning paper. He and Fredrik Kahl won the ICCV Marr Prize in 2005 for work on geometric reconstruction. In 1998 and 1999 he earned doctorates in systems control theory, from the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and from INSA Toulouse. From 2002 to 2009 he served as an associate editor of Automatica, and in 2004 he received the CNRS bronze medal. As of October 2026, he works at LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse.
