Didier Dubois
Didier Dubois is a CNRS research advisor at IRIT in Toulouse, and his research interests include fuzzy set theory, possibility theory, and knowledge representation. He earned a Docteur d'Etat from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble in 1983. With Henri Prade, he published Possibility Theory: An Approach to Computerized Processing of Uncertainty in 1988. He served as vice-president and president of the International Fuzzy Systems Association from 1993 to 1997, and he became co-editor-in-chief of Fuzzy Sets and Systems in 1999. In 2002 he and Henri Prade received the Fuzzy Systems Pioneer Award of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, and in 2015 they shared an IFSA Award for significant impact on fuzzy logic related research and applications.
