As of October 2026, Deng Taihua is chairman and CEO of AgiBot, a company focused on general-purpose AI robotics and embodied intelligence. He spent more than 20 years at Huawei, where he was promoted to vice president and president of the Computing Product Line. AgiBot was founded in February 2023, after he invited a young man to start a business together. In April 2026 he told a partner conference that the company's 2025 revenue exceeded 1.05 billion yuan. TIME named him to its 2026 TIME100 AI list as founder and CEO of AgiBot.
