Constanza Gómez Mont

Constanza Gómez Mont is a public voice on AI governance whose work spans Mexico’s public policy debate and global ethics frameworks. In 2018, she wrote about AI in the public sector; in 2019, she described IA2030Mx’s first National AI survey. She co-drafted UNESCO’s global AI ethics agreement in 2020, chaired the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on AI for Humanity in 2021–2022, and won Women in AI’s 2023 North America AI Life Trajectory Award. At UNESCO’s 2024 Global Forum, she discussed gender inclusion in AI and was named a Yale Climate Fellow. As of October 2026, she is founder and executive director of C Minds, founder of AI for Climate, and founder and head of NaturaTech LAC.

    AI in the public sector

    In 2018, she writes about AI in Mexico’s public sector and leads C Minds, whose AI for Good Lab studies the technology’s social impact.

  2. 2019

    A national AI survey

    In 2019, she describes IA2030Mx’s launch of Mexico’s first National AI survey, which seeks public views and recommendations for government.

  3. 2020

    Co-drafting UNESCO’s AI ethics agreement

    In 2020, she co-drafts UNESCO’s global agreement on AI ethics. The resulting guidelines include a chapter on AI and the environment and are signed by 193 countries.

  4. 2021–2022

    Chairing a WEF AI council

    In 2021–2022, she chairs the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on AI for Humanity.

  5. 2023

    A Women in AI award

    In 2023, she wins Women in AI’s AI Life Trajectory Award for North America.

  6. 2024

    Gender inclusion at UNESCO

    At UNESCO’s 2024 Global Forum, she discusses actions to improve gender diversity and empowerment in AI; she is named a Yale Climate Fellow in 2024.

    Leading C Minds and NaturaTech

    As of October 2026, she is C Minds’ founder and executive director, founder of AI for Climate, and founder and head of NaturaTech LAC, which advances biodiversity and natural capital innovation across Latin America and the Caribbean.
