Bhavani Iyer
Bhavani Iyer was a member of IBM's Watson team, which received the 2013 Feigenbaum Prize for combining AI techniques to reach human-level performance in real-time factual question-answering. Her Apache UIMA work includes a 2009 issue report with a patch and committed changes to UIMA's C++ code in January 2012. As of October 2026, she is a committer on the Apache UIMA project.
