Ayoung Kim

Also known as 김아영, Kim Ayoung

Ayoung Kim is a Seoul-based artist who uses generative AI and videogame engines in her narratives. She won a Golden Nica at Prix Ars Electronica in 2023 for Delivery Dancer's Sphere, which she developed in 2022. The National Asian Culture Center in Gwangju awarded her the inaugural ACC Future Prize in 2024. LG and the Guggenheim New York named her the 2025 LG Guggenheim Award recipient, and she was one of ten Chanel Next Prize 2026 winners. MoMA PS1 showed her Delivery Dancer Codex exhibition from November 2025 to March 2026, and TIME included her in its 2026 list of 100 influential individuals in artificial intelligence.

    MoMA PS1 shows her Delivery Dancer Codex exhibition from November 2025 to March 2026. She uses generative AI and videogame engines in her narratives.

    She wins the Chanel Next Prize 2026 as one of ten artists, each receiving €100,000.
