Arash Ajoudani
Arash Ajoudani directs IIT’s Human-Robot Interfaces and Interaction laboratory. His research covers physical human-robot interaction, mobile manipulation, assistive robots, and telerobotics. He has coordinated the SOPHIA project and co-coordinated CONCERT, and his grants include Ergo-Lean, Real-Move, and EPIC. He also wrote a book on transferring human impedance regulation skills to robots. A 2025 IROS workshop he co-organised examined human-in-the-loop robot learning with foundation models. His research links learning and control to shared work between people and robots.
