Researcher

Antonio Torralba

Antonio Torralba’s research addresses how a machine can interpret an image. His work uses the wider scene to help identify the objects within it. Torralba developed an interest in computer vision during his doctorate in Grenoble. Torralba developed systems that use information from an entire image to identify individual objects. Their context helps reduce the range of possible interpretations.
