Amos Storkey
Amos Storkey researches machine learning at Edinburgh. His work spans probabilistic sequence models, astronomy and learning systems. Storkey held an Edinburgh research fellowship in 1998 on probabilistic models for sequences. In 2001, Storkey held a research fellowship involving Edinburgh and the Royal Observatory. Its topic was probabilistic methods and machine learning in astronomy. He became a lecturer in 2004, a reader in 2012 and a professor of machine learning and AI in 2018.
