Amit Goyal
Amit Goyal is an applied scientist at Amazon Music whose papers span natural-language processing, image description, and streaming-media research. His early work included streaming language models, narrative-text representations, and scalable NLP sketches; he completed a University of Maryland PhD in 2012 and coauthored Midge. The ACL gave Midge its 2022 Test-of-Time Paper Award. In 2026, he coauthored SAGE on music-streaming fraud and helped organize a WSDM workshop on generative AI for streaming media.
