Alex Bronstein
Bronstein earned a computer-science PhD from Technion in 2007. His research covers three-dimensional geometry, nonlinear dimensionality reduction, image processing and efficient deep-learning methods. He held a principal-engineer role at Intel from 2012 to 2021, a Tel Aviv associate professorship from 2013 to 2016 and later Technion appointments. Bronstein coauthored a PNAS study in 2021 on deep-learning analysis of electrocardiograms and clinicians’ needs. It places medical AI alongside his research on geometry and computational imaging.
