Yishay Mansour
Mansour earned an MIT PhD in 1990, later conducted research at Harvard and IBM, and joined Tel Aviv University in 1992. His fields include machine learning and algorithmic game theory. He led Tel Aviv’s computer-science school from 2000 to 2002. It also describes the establishment of an Israeli research-excellence centre in algorithms. His COLT-MDP lab studies compact representations, efficient computation and uncertainty in reinforcement learning. The lab also studies fairness and privacy among societal research questions.
