Vlatko Vedral
Vlatko Vedral is a Serbian-born British physicist who works on quantum information theory. His AI-related work includes a 2020 survey on machine learning and quantum foundations. Leaving Serbia for the United Kingdom in 1991, he completed a PhD on the quantum information theory of entanglement in 1998. He is a professor of quantum information science at the University of Oxford, where he joined in 2009. His 2025 book, Portals to a New Reality, argues that physics is on the brink of a new revolution.
