Jakob Uszkoreit
Jakob Uszkoreit is Inceptive’s co-founder and chief executive. He began with a Google internship in 2005 and later co-authored the Transformer. His other shared work includes a network for several types of task, the Tensor2Tensor library, and the Vision Transformer. These projects studied how models could process language, images, and other data. Inceptive was formed in 2021 and combines sequence models with laboratory work on molecules. Its collaboration with Alnylam focuses on RNA interference drug research. The company’s goals concern future research results. His work connects methods for processing sequences with an effort to design and test biological molecules.
