Tingwen Huang
Also known as 黄廷文, Huang Tingwen
Tingwen Huang is a professor at the Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology, and his work on the dynamics of neural networks earned him fellowships from the IEEE and the International Association for Pattern Recognition. He earned mathematics degrees in China in 1990 and 1993, then a Ph.D. in applied mathematics at Texas A&M University in 2002. He joined Texas A&M University at Qatar as an assistant professor in 2003 and became a professor there in 2013. The Qatar National Research Fund gave him its best research project award for 2015, and the Asia Pacific Neural Networks Society named him a governor for 2016–2017. In 2019 the Ministry of Education of China conferred on him the Changjiang Scholar (Chair Professor) honor.
