Sebastian Nowozin
Nowozin moved from Google’s Berlin Brain team to Microsoft in June 2020. He led the Machine Intelligence research theme in Cambridge. He coauthored work on the quality of Bayesian posteriors in 2020 and on the roles of data curation, augmentation and priors in the cold-posterior effect in 2021. Nowozin moved to DeepMind London in September 2022. His research interests include AI for science, uncertainty quantification and how model errors affect estimates and decisions.
