Ramakrishnan Srikant
Ramakrishnan Srikant is a Google Fellow whose data mining research spans association rules, sequential patterns, and privacy-preserving methods. He worked at IBM Almaden Research Center before joining Google in 2005. His 1994 paper with Rakesh Agrawal, 'Fast algorithms for mining association rules', has more than 27,000 citations by July 2014. The ACM SIGKDD Innovation Award recognized his pruning techniques for association rules and his privacy-preserving data mining in 2006. The ACM elected him a Fellow in 2014 for contributions to knowledge discovery and data mining.
