Rahul Patil
Rahul Patil is chief technology officer at Anthropic, where he leads the engineering organization that scales Claude. He joined Anthropic in 2025, succeeding Sam McCandlish, who became chief architect. Before Anthropic, he was chief technology officer at Stripe, a post he took in August 2024, replacing David Singleton. Earlier, he was a manager on Amazon Kinesis Firehose at AWS in 2014, and from 2015 to 2020 he was senior vice president for cloud infrastructure at Oracle.
