Pat Langley
Pat Langley studies learning algorithms, computational scientific discovery, and architectures that combine intelligent capabilities. Langley received a doctorate from Carnegie Mellon in 1979. He later conducted research at universities, NASA Ames and in industry. Langley, Herbert A. Simon, Gary L. Bradshaw, and Jan M. Zytkow co-authored Scientific Discovery: Computational Explorations of the Creative Processes. MIT Press published the book in 1987.
