Nicu Sebe
Nicu Sebe studies computer vision, multimedia and human behaviour. Sebe has worked with collaborators on classifier learning, event detection and head-pose estimation. Sebe co-authored a 2004 TPAMI paper on semi-supervised classifier learning and its application to human-computer interaction with Ira Cohen, Fábio Cozman, Marcelo Cirelo and Thomas Huang. Sebe worked with Zhigang Ma, Yi Yang and Alexander Hauptmann on adapting knowledge with partially shared features for event detection from few exemplars. His joint 2016 publications include a multi-task learning framework for head-pose estimation under target motion and the SALSA dataset for multimodal group-behaviour analysis.
