Researcher

Luc De Raedt

Luc De Raedt studies ways to combine machine learning with logical and probabilistic reasoning. De Raedt received a computer science doctorate from KU Leuven in 1991. He pursued subsequent postdoctoral research in Flanders and part-time faculty work at Leuven. De Raedt was a professor and chair of the Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing Lab at Freiburg from 1999 to 2006. His research spans learning, reasoning, and probabilistic and inductive programming.
