Lorenzo Seidenari
Lorenzo Seidenari studies deep learning for computer vision and robotics. His research includes trajectory prediction, model uncertainty and video processing. Seidenari earned his Florence doctorate under Alberto Del Bimbo in 2012, visited Silvio Savarese for research in 2013 and did postdoctoral work at Florence until January 2018. Seidenari coauthored MANTRA with Francesco Marchetti, Federico Becattini and Alberto Del Bimbo. The CVPR 2020 paper uses memory-augmented networks for multiple trajectory prediction. He coauthored SMEMO, a study of social memory for trajectory forecasting, published in IEEE TPAMI in 2023. He is also a scientific adviser at the video-processing startup Small Pixels.
