Jaime Sevilla
Jaime Sevilla is an AI researcher whose work tracks machine-learning trends and the trajectory of AI. He earned mathematics and computer engineering degrees at Complutense and pursued doctoral work on explainability in Bayesian networks at Aberdeen. From 2021 to 2024, he co-founded and served as interim director of a Spanish-speaking organization for global risk management. At Epoch AI, he co-authored research on training-compute growth and FrontierMath, a benchmark for advanced mathematical reasoning. As of October 2026, he is Epoch AI's co-founder and chief executive.
