Elizabeth Chang

As of October 2026, Elizabeth Chang is a professor of ICT and cyber security at the University of the Sunshine Coast, where she supervises students in applied AI. She completed a master's degree in 1992 and a PhD in 1997, both in computer science and software engineering at La Trobe University. In 2003 she became a professor at Curtin University, where she built the Digital Ecosystems and Business Intelligence Institute. From 2013 to 2022 she led the Logistics Innovation and Information Dominance Research Group in Canberra, and she was named an IEEE Fellow in 2015. UNSW gave her the 2020 Supervisor of the Year award.
