Cédric Archambeau
Also known as Cedric Archambeau
Cédric Archambeau combines statistical machine learning with industrial AI. His joint work includes model tuning, uncertainty tools and continual learning. Archambeau completed a UCLouvain doctorate in 2005, conducted UCL postdoctoral research in 2006–2009 and worked at Xerox Research Centre Europe in 2009–2013. He joined Amazon in 2013 and served as Chief Scientist for SageMaker in 2019–2023. His research covers automated, continual and responsible learning. Archambeau was a coauthor of Fortuna, a library for uncertainty quantification in deep learning. The work appeared in JMLR’s open-source software track.
