Casimir A. Kulikowski
Casimir A. Kulikowski’s research places artificial intelligence in medicine. His work covers expert reasoning, pattern recognition, clinical knowledge, and biomedical information systems. He earned a doctorate in electrical engineering at the University of Hawaii in 1970 and became an assistant professor at Rutgers that year. He coauthored work on model-based medical decisions in 1978 and a 1982 account of the CASNET and EXPERT projects with Sholom Weiss.
