Bo Zheng
Also known as Zheng Bo, 郑波
Bo Zheng works on machine learning, e-commerce and the HappyHorse model at Alibaba. He worked at Google from 2006 to 2017 and joined Alibaba in September 2017. He co-authored Gated Attention for Large Language Models, one of four NeurIPS 2025 best papers. In January 2022 he was promoted to the M6 vice-president level, and in June 2026 he brought HappyHorse and HappyOyster into Alibaba's Token Foundry unit. As of October 2026, he is chief scientist at Taobao and Tmall.
