Benjamin Mann helped found Anthropic in January 2021, and the company's flagship product is Claude. He co-authored Language Models are Few-Shot Learners, the paper that trains GPT-3, and it received a NeurIPS 2020 best paper award. Papers he co-wrote in 2021 and 2022 cover alignment, helpful and harmless assistants, and Constitutional AI. He co-leads Labs with Mike Krieger, the internal incubator that builds experimental Claude products.
