Angjoo Kanazawa
Angjoo Kanazawa studies 3D vision. Her work includes reconstructing human shape from images and building tools for capturing changing scenes. Kanazawa shared lead authorship with Federica Bogo on Keep it SMPL. The team studied automatic estimation of 3D human pose and shape from a single image. Her University of Maryland doctoral thesis studied single-view 3D reconstruction of animals. The thesis extends a broader research interest in extracting three-dimensional structure from two-dimensional evidence.
