Aaron Sloman

Aaron Sloman connects artificial intelligence with questions about the structure and development of minds. His CogAff project joins philosophy, biology, and computational models. Sloman and Glyn Humphreys started the Cognition and Affect project in Birmingham in 1991. The project links models of intelligence with emotion and cognitive architecture. Sloman participated in CoSy from 2004 to 2008 and CogX from 2008 to 2012. These collaborations studied cognitive robotics.
